Northline sets up and runs a missed-call text-back service for your business. When someone calls your business number and you don't answer, they automatically receive a text message from your business, and their replies are sent to you. We set up the phone number, the automation, and the message, and we help you turn on call forwarding.
We aim to have your service ready within 2 to 4 business days after you pay. This can take longer if we are waiting on information from you or on your phone carrier.
You can cancel at any time by emailing us at northlineox@gmail.com or by replying to any message from us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current monthly billing period, and you won't be charged again after that. To fully stop the service on your phone, you also need to turn off call forwarding; we will send you the steps.
The monthly fee is not refunded once a billing period has started. The setup fee covers the work of building your service, so it is not refunded after setup work has begun. If we are unable to deliver a working service, we will refund what you paid.
The service depends on phone carriers, Twilio, and other outside providers. Messages can be delayed, blocked, or fail to arrive for reasons outside our control, and we can't guarantee that every missed call will get a text or that any number of jobs or customers will result. We work to keep the service running and will fix problems as fast as we can.
To the extent the law allows, Northline is not responsible for lost jobs, lost revenue, or indirect damages connected to the service. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the issue happened.
We only use the phone numbers and messages that pass through your service to run the service for you. We do not sell or share them. When you cancel, we stop using your customers' information for your service and delete it on request. Anyone can reply STOP to any text to opt out.
If we change these terms, we will tell you by email or text before the change applies to you. If you don't agree, you can cancel.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
